The thing about self-care is It doesn’t have to be time-consuming and overwhelming.
It can simply be about all the small ways you tune in, listen to your body, and take small steps to take care of yourself.
We all have days where we don’t feel our best. There are days where we will feel a range of negative emotions, for whatever reason. During these times, it’s important to take care of ourselves by prioritising self-care. The term self-care is thrown around a lot. But what exactly does it mean? Self-care is the intentional act of caring for ourselves, physically, mentally and emotionally. It comes in many different forms, but it encompasses anything that will help us to pause, relax and recharge, so that we can feel our best. Here are some self-care ideas to get you feeling better:
Call or text someone you love
Drink a cup of herbal tea, Chamomile and Spearmint are wonderful!!
Journal about how you’re feeling and write down 5 things you love about yourself
Take some deep breaths while focusing on your breathing
Listen to your favourite music and create a playlist
Get some fresh air and go for a long walk in nature
Cook or order in your favourite meal
Read a book or inspirational quotes
Light your favourite candle
Do a digital detox
Go to your favourite place

Get some sleep
Buy yourself flowers
